How to measure Reveal Fit - To fit inside the recess/opening:

• Measure the width in three places (top, center, and bottom).
• Use the smallest width and Deduct 5 to 10mm (5mm on each side) for clearance.
• Measure the height/drop,  No deduction required.

Note: Minimum recess depth / Clearance required for fitting roller blind in the window frame is 100mm.

How to measure Face Fix - To fit over or outside the opening (two methods - choose the best for your space):

Method 1

• Measure the window width and add 100mm (50mm on each side).
• Measure the height and add 100mm to avoid drilling into the lintel and another 100mm to clear the sill. Note: A protruding sill may impact blind movement.

Method 2:

• Measure the area you want the blind to cover, keep in mind clearing the lintel at the top.
• Bottom overlap is optional. If there’s a protruding sill, consider stopping the blind at the sill.

Additional Information on Roller Blinds

The material is 35mm narrower than the width ordered with a 20mm gap on the control side and a 15mm gap on the idle end.

• 110mm Wooden Valances available in:
  White, Light Grey, Dark Grey, Natural, Cherry, Walnut, Dark Mahogany, Imbuia.
  • Colour-coded end caps, centre joiners, corner returns available.  Max width 2700mm
• 90mm Bullnose Wooden Valances available in:
  White, Light Grey, Dark Grey, Natural, Cherry, Walnut, Dark Mahogany, Imbuia.
  • Mitered returns available, Max width: 3000mm.  No end caps or centre joiners available

System 40 Roller Blinds:

• Uses a 38mm headrail tube, suitable for blinds up to 3 meters wide with limited drops.
• Components available in: White, Grey, Black, Ivory, Brown.
  • Hardware colour will default to the fabric choice unless a specific colour is requested.

Bracket Options:

• Slimline Tandem Brackets:
  • Waterfall configuration required for the front blind (specify configuration).
  • Clearance required: 100mm.
• Regular, Centre, and Geared tandems available in White & Black and Grey
  • Available for recess and face fix.
  • Tandem bracket covers: Not currently available.
• Single Centre Brackets:
  • Available in White, Black, Grey, Brown & Ivory
  • Designed for two blinds next to one another, with controls on the left and right.
• Single Geared Brackets:
  • Available in White, Black, Grey, Brown & Ivory
  • Suitable for two blinds next to one another, with a single control (left or right).
  • Total max opening: 8m².

Exclusive Cassette System Upgrade:

• Applicable only to System 40 rollers.
• New aluminium cassettes (available in White, Grey, Black, Ivory, and Brown) replace the older fabric-covered cassettes.

System 50 Roller Blinds:

• Uses a 55mm headrail tube, suitable for blinds up to 4.5 meters wide (with limited drops).
• Components available in: White or Black only.
  • Specify the colour option on order.
  • Only regular single brackets available.
  • Tandem, Centre, and Geared brackets are not available for System 50 blinds

Tips on How to Measure for a Roller Blind

Measuring your window correctly is essential for a perfect fit. Follow these simple tips to get accurate dimensions for your roller blinds:

• Decide on the Mounting Style
  • Reveal Fix (Inside Mount): The blind fits inside the window recess. This gives a neat, flush look.
  • Face Fix (Outside Mount): The blind is mounted outside the recess, covering the entire window area.
• Use a Steel Tape Measure or Laser
  • Always use a sturdy steel tape measure for accuracy.
  • Measure in millimeters (mm) for precise results.
  • If using a laser, it’s always a good idea to double-check the measurements with a tape measure.
• Measure Width
  • For Reveal Fix: Measure the width inside the window recess at the top, middle, and bottom. Use the narrowest measurement.
  • For Face Fix: Measure the width of the area you want the blind to cover. Add at least 50mm (5cm) on each side for better light control and privacy.
• Measure Drop (Height)
  • For Reveal Fix: Measure the height inside the window recess at the left, middle, and right. Use the shortest measurement.
  • For Face Fix: Measure from the top of the area you want the blind to start (usually above the recess) to where you want it to end.
• Consider Control Mechanism and Brackets
  • Only for Face Fix: Add 35mm to the blind width to accommodate the control and brackets
  • If your window has obstructions (e.g., handles), ensure the blind can roll freely without interference.
• Double-Check Your Measurements
  • Re-measure to confirm accuracy before placing your order.
  • Remember, the size you order is the exact blind size. The fabric width will be 35mm less than the total width.
