• Preventing Damage: Incorrect fitting can lead to buckling, lifting, or damaged edges — and may void your warranty.

2. Essential Add-ons for Warranty Validity

• Laminate Flooring: Requires a DPM (Damp Proof Membrane) and suitable underlay.
• SPC/Vinyl Flooring: Almost always requires a DPM, especially in moisture-prone areas.
• Carpets: Quality underlay is essential for comfort, durability, and pile maintenance.
• Engineered Wood/Bamboo: May require a DPM and/or specific underlay depending on subfloor and installation method.

• Resolution: The manufacturer assesses the claim — may involve an inspection — and coordinates replacement or refund.

• Ground Level Only: Drivers cannot carry items to upper floors.

Carrier transit times (Economy) apply after the 1–2 day processing period.

Contact us within 30 days of delivery. Flooring must be in original, unopened, resalable packaging. Customer covers return shipping costs & potential handling fees.

• Condition: Original, unopened packaging only (includes leftover unopened boxes).
• Exclusions: Sale items and Special Orders are non-returnable.

1. Measuring in Square Meters (m²)

For most plank, tile, and carpet tile products: laminate, vinyl planks/tiles, PVC tiles, engineered wood, bamboo flooring, and carpet tiles.

• How to Measure: Length × Width = Area in m².
• Accuracy: Measure to the nearest 1cm (0.01m).

Wastage to add:

• Standard Rooms: Add 10%
• Long & Narrow Areas (hallways): Add 15%
• Herringbone or Complex Patterns: Add 20%

2. Products Sold by Running Meters

For broadloom carpets, sheet vinyl, artificial grass, and some rubber flooring.

• How to Measure: Measure the longest length and widest width required.
• Accuracy: Precision is critical — measure to the nearest millimeter.
• Measure into Doorways: Always measure into doorways and under built-in fixtures.
• Check Product Roll Width: Rolls come in specific widths (e.g. 2m, 3m, 3.66m, 4m, 4.2m).
• Calculating Joins: If your room is wider than the roll, calculate total linear meters required factoring in pattern matching.

3. Measuring for Blinds

Essential for Venetian, roller, vertical blinds, and shutters.

• Reveal Fit (Inside Mount): Measure inside width at top, middle, and bottom — use the smallest. Same for height.
• Face Fit (Outside Mount): Measure the window opening plus desired overlap for full coverage.
• Check for Obstructions: Note any handles, latches, tiles, or mouldings that might interfere.
